Morning Tide is inspired by beautiful textured paperbarks growing along the Currimundi Lake inlet. This incredibly textured work is painted with palette knives and brushes. Premium artist oils mixed with cold wax were painted over a stretched cotton canvas. Up close you can see the really thick impasto palette knife marks, yet as you walk away, it becomes a realism piece.
