Inspired by the ancient rainforests of Tasmania. This emotive, nostalgic piece is painted in a classical chiaroscuro style with layers of translucent glazes of oil paint built up over time. Featuring a deep black green background, full of depth with objects emerging from the darkness. The work is framed in a Tasmanian oak floating frame.
